Baltimore, MD – November 2010, Maryland Thermoform Corporation received top honors from Procter and Gamble in being presented with the Global Supplier Achievement Award for the sixth time in seven years.
The Beauty Care Division of Procter and Gamble presents the award to suppliers based on quality, service, delivery, innovation and price. It is the highest recognition given to vendors in this competitive field. The award was presented by Donna Nawalkowsky (Global Upstream Organization Leader) and Phil Sheehey (Global Cosmetics and Skin Supply Chain Director.)
Ms. Nawalkowsky said, “Maryland Thermoform Corporation had worked very closely with Procter & Gamble in converting all their packaging to a “Greener” level while maintaining excellent deliveries, quality and cost savings.
Maryland Thermoform leads the field in its ability to test and bring various new materials to market including Klockner Pentaplast’s latest offering of the TerraPet™ films. TerraPet™ films contains up to 30% plant based material which is more sustainable over the long term than commonly used clear packaging material.
